Giving Guidelines
From the day our doors opened in 1995, Tastefully Simple has placed a very high value on giving back to our community. Over the years, we've been blessed and proud to donate more than $5 million to charitable organizations in our area.
General Eligibility At Tastefully Simple, we primarily focus our donations in the following areas:

Strengthening Families - Tastefully Simple is committed to addressing the critical needs that surface in our community. Charitable initiatives that address issues related to hunger, domestic violence, affordable housing, affordable health care and building skills for self-sufficiency will be considered.

Empowerment of Women - We are committed to improving the quality of life for women and girls - promoting ideas and supporting programs for the continued strengthening and empowerment of all women.

Entrepreneurship - Tastefully Simple will consider charitable initiatives that promote entrepreneurship as a viable career option and develop the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to start and operate a business.

We also consider requests in the following areas:

Environment - We understand that our natural resources are precious. Charitable initiatives that address principle threats to natural resources and encourage meaningful and lasting conservation will be considered.

Arts & Culture - Tastefully Simple will consider charitable initiatives that cultivate, develop, educate and enrich our community.

To be eligible for a donation from our company, a charitable organization should support one of the key areas above and be classified as a 501(c)(3). The organization should also be located within one of the following Minnesota counties: Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Todd, Pope or Stearns. Primary consideration is given to organizations located within Douglas County.

Please note that donation requests for the following are generally not considered:
| General operating expenses | | Individuals seeking educational grants, contests, pageants, trips or similar activities | | Churches and religious organizations | | Sports teams, competitions or similar sports-related activities | | Veteran, fraternal or labor organizations | | Lobbying, political or controversial organizations |
