Alexandria, Minnesota - Tastefully Simple is pleased to announce that Holea Bruggman is the first Jefferson High School graduating senior to receive the company's full scholarship to attend Alexandria Technical College (ATC).

The scholarship will cover tuition and fees for Bruggman to attend the Health & Fitness Program at ATC, as well as provide her with a $250 stipend per semester for textbooks and supplies.

"This scholarship is simply our way of helping open doors for the amazing youth in our community," says Jill Blashack Strahan, Tastefully Simple founder & CEO. "Holea has an exciting future ahead of her, and we believe students like her will create a better future for all of us."

Bruggman is an Alexandria native who has actively played tennis for over five years. As a result of her athletic experience, she would like to become an entrepreneur and start her own fitness business. She also plans to become the assistant coach for the 7^th/8^th grade girls' tennis team at Jefferson High School in the fall.

The Tastefully Simple scholarship, which is the first full scholarship awarded to a student to attend Alexandria Technical College, is offered annually to one graduating senior. Candidates must be graduating from Jefferson High School with a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
