Verhaeghe brings 27 years of direct-selling experience to 10-year-old Tastefully Simple. "We're thrilled to have John join our team," says Jill Blashack Strahan, Tastefully Simple's founder and CEO. "His expertise and insight will bring tremendous value to our consultants nationwide."
In his new role, Verhaeghe will lead the Tastefully Simple Business Development Team, driving sales and consultant recruitment. "I am excited about working with my team to help Tastefully Simple consultants achieve their goals," Verhaeghe says. His decision to join Tastefully Simple was based on a love for the company's products, as well as the Alexandria area, he says.
Verhaeghe comes to Tastefully Simple from Eden Prairie-based Department 56®, a giftware and collectibles company, where he was a national sales director. Prior to that, Verhaeghe worked at Avon® Products, Inc., where he was a two-time World Sales Leader (top 10 percent in sales). Verhaeghe is a graduate of the University of Illinois. He and his wife, Mary Jo, are relocating to the Alexandria area.
