Who doesn't love bacon? I know I do! And my whole family does, too. I never would have guessed bacon could be any more delicious than it already is, but boy, was I wrong! I recently discovered our new Brown Sugar & Maple Bacon Seasoning. OMG – it is amazing! It brings such a heightened flavor to normal bacon … I don't think I will ever eat plain bacon again.
My husband's favorite thing is a big breakfast on the weekends. He loves to enjoy a nice, meaty, hearty meal on Saturday mornings, and I enjoy making it for him and my kiddos. So, I decided to create a breakfast "pizza" with our new favorite brown sugar maple bacon. It was delicious and received two very enthusiastic thumbs-up from the whole family! Check out the recipe »
First, prepare your bacon as directed on the seasoning package. Be sure to reserve about ¼ of the packet so you can season your sausage with it as well.
Brown turkey breakfast sausage and season with ¼ packet of the seasoning.
Spray a round baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and press thawed hashbrowns in the bottom and up the sides to form a "crust."
Top with shredded cheddar cheese. Note: if you want a crispier crust, you could bake the hashbrowns and cheese for about 10-15 minutes prior to adding the rest of your ingredients.
Beat 8 eggs and mix with ½ of the bacon and sausage (save the leftovers for another recipe or make 2 pizzas!). Pour over crust.
Top with remaining shredded cheese.
Bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes or until the eggs are set and hashbrowns are browned.
Because one of my favorite things to eat are BLTs, I decided we should make the BLT & Cheese Sandwiches featured on the Brown Sugar & Maple Bacon Seasoning package with the leftover bacon. I love BLTs any day, but these were AMAZING! You have to try them!
