“Ain’t nobody got time for this!” I put that sentence in quotes because I surely didn’t say it first. I don’t know who did, really. But, in the case of making appetizers and themed party treats that line completely applies to my life … and probably yours. I do NOT have time nor do I want to make time for fancy pants party food. Not when easy and fast is an option. And frankly, easy and fast is ALWAYS an option. Don’t ever believe it isn’t.
Like this caramel “apple” cheese ball. Easy and fast. Delicious. And oh so cute. Like really, really cute!
In fact, after I made this cheese ball up and was getting the tortilla chips on the plate Levi came into the kitchen and was excited because he thought I had made him a caramel apple. At first he was disappointed to learn it wasn’t but soon changed his mind when he dug into the caramel “apple.” I, however, was secretly pleased to have fooled him so well. Score one for me!
