Cheddar, the red-nosed cheese ball … had a very shiny nose. And if you ever saw it, you would think: wow, what a cute little cheese ball, it’s almost too cute to eat! Almost …
Does anyone else enjoy food crafting in the kitchen? This time of year I’m in the kitchen a lot. Making appetizers to bring to a holiday party or baking cookies to share with our neighbors … it’s basically my favorite time of the year – for all the cooking reasons. This year I decided I would go for an easier approach for my go-to appetizer.
Meet Cheddar, my red-nosed cheese ball reindeer.
He’s prepared with the main prep of Cheddar Ale Cheese Ball Mix, rolled in chopped pecans and topped with pretzel twists, black olives for eyes and a red pepper for his nose. Easy-peasy, right? And when you serve this with veggies – that’s winning right there.
My kids went to town on this little reindeer to the point that I needed to cut them off before they could eat the entire thing. Because what’s funner than dipping your broccoli into a cheese ball that looks like a reindeer? Practically nothing!
So if you’re looking for a cute little appetizer for your holiday gathering, grab a box of Cheddar Ale Cheese Ball Mix and get rollin’!
Happy holidays, friends!
