Five Dill-icious Ideas for Your Next Burger Night

Burgers on the grill are my absolute favorite summer food. We have them at least once a week. In honor of July being national pickle month, I wanted to mix up some pickle perfect, dill-icious dishes to eat with our burgers. I found lots of inspiring recipes on our website and am sharing these fabulous five.

  1. Summer Veggie Pasta Salad
This pasta salad is light and tangy and is full of fresh mix-ins. It’s made with Buffalo Dill Sauce and was really easy to make. The recipe makes a big bowl full. I was excited to have leftovers for lunch the next day. And it was a great side for our grilled burgers.

  2. Dill Pickle Veggie Shooters
Dill Pickle Dip is always a hit with my family and these shooters, with Dill Pickle Dip on the bottom, were a really fun way to eat fresh veggies. I made ours using small mason jars. Tip: When cutting your veggies, cut them into longer than normal sticks so they’re easy to grab out of your container. Everyone gets their own shooter which makes it okay to double dip…you’ll want to.

  3. Dill Pickle Potato Salad
My second favorite summer food is potato salad. We eat a steady rotation of German-style and mustard-style potato salads through the summer. This Dill Pickle Potato Salad will definitely be a new addition to our rotation. The tang from the Dill Pickle Dip Mix is so good and I loved the bite from the added celery and chopped pickles.Dill Pickle Potato Salad
  4. Buffalo Dill Bloody Mary
My third favorite summer food is a Bloody Mary. Ok, technically a Bloody Mary isn’t food but the tomato juice makes it a liquid salad, right? I usually make Bloody Marys by the glass so making this recipe -two at a time in a small pitcher – definitely saved time when my first glass was empty. 😉 I really liked the tang and the hint of buffalo flavor from the Buffalo Dill Sauce. I added a kosher pickle spear for even more pickle flavor.Buffalo Dill Bloody Mary recipe | Tastefully Simple
  5. Bonus recipe: When searching for dill-inspired recipes, I stumbled across this one. It isn’t a dish to eat with burgers, but is a fun new way to make your burgers. You mix a bit of Dill Pickle Dip Mix into your burger and then use the rest to make a simple, tzatziki sauce for a burger topper.

Join me in celebrating National Pickle Month and give one of these a try. Wishing you a dill-icious day!
