Garlic Parmesan Wings

It's football season again, and with that comes fantasy football league, tailgating and Sunday gatherings in front of a big-screen TV. And for people like me, the only thing that keeps the boredom from killing us is the food! Yeah, it's true. I am not a football fan. I'm OK with it. If you're having a Pinterest Party or a Recipe Swap or even a Jane Austen Film Festival ... I'm there. But the only thing that will get me to a sporting event are the snacks ... especially wings! What I love about our Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce is that it's flavorful and kicky. But not so hot that your hair catches fire. I also love that whenever I use it to make our soon-to-be-world-famous Spicy Parmesan Party Mix, I feel like a celebrity chef, because people simply GUSH over it. Seriously. I sent a batch to work with my husband one day - he works at a very male-dominated engineering firm - and all the guys were asking for the recipe. I don't think most of them even know where the kitchen in their house IS.

So this weekend, whether your plans involve football, movie marathons or engineers ... whip up a batch of these excellent Garlic Parmesan Wings!

Garlic Parmesan Wings

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken wings & drummies, thawed if frozen
  • 1 bottle Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce

  2. Brush both sides of chicken with Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce. Bake 30 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven. Turn chicken over, brushing both sides with additional Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce. Continue baking 30 minutes or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165°F on an instant-read food thermometer.
  4. Transfer wings to a slow cooker on WARM, if desired. Serve with additional wing sauce for dipping.

Tips and Hints

  • I prefer to buy chicken wings and drummies fresh, because the frozen ones are usually injected with a lot of "solution" (check the label). Since I don't know what "solution" is ... I try to avoid it.
  • For a main dish, use chicken breasts and thighs instead of wings.
  • Serve with a side of TS Rockin' Ranch Dressing.
