I like Magic Mike … but I looove Magic Chicken! I suppose I wouldn’t be opposed to Magic Mike making me Magic Chicken, but Magic Chicken is so easy to make that I don’t need Magic Mike.
Simply place chicken, water and Magic Chicken Seasoning Blend in a slow cooker. That’s it! After the chicken is cooked, it’s easy to shred and serve that night, store in the fridge for the next day or place in the freezer for a later date. Magic Chicken Check out the recipe.
This chicken is great for wraps, salads, sandwiches, pizza, tacos, snacks and so much more. I love to make a large batch and leave it in the fridge. My kids will either grab a small dishful and eat it with crackers or roll it up in a soft tortilla for a quick snack. And I love to use it in my daily lunches.
I also like to add cut grapes and glazed pecans with a tiny bit of mayo and eat it on a croissant. Or I put it in chicken quesadillas! And it’s great in an enchilada. Okay, so maybe I’m a tiny bit obsessed with Magic Chicken, but when you are a busy mom and you find an easy and delicious way to cook for your family … you obsess over it just a little!
