Superfood Salad

Today, I have an important announcement – so lean in, slide to the edge of your seat and brace yourself. Here it is: You are a superhero. Think about all those things you do – all those people you take care of. Whether it's your kids, your spouse, parents, friends or your boss, you are somebody's superhero! They love you, they need you and they depend on you. 

And superheroes need superfoods to fuel them! Superfoods are nutrient-dense foods that promote wellness and weight control while providing you with disease-fighting nutrients. But the best news could be that they taste fabulous! Especially when you put a bunch of them in a big bowl and make a superfood salad.

I brought this salad to work to share and honestly, my coworkers were swept off their feet! After we ate, we all felt strong, healthy and ready to put our capes on! So feed your inner superhero this week with this delicious, nutritious Superfood Salad.


Superfood Salad



Whisk first 5 ingredients together; set dressing mixture aside. Toss remaining ingredients together in a large bowl. Pour dressing mixture over salad; gently toss. Serve immediately.

Tips and Hints

  • This salad is very colorful (superfoods often are), so tell your kids they get to eat a rainbow today!
  • This salad holds well for about 24 hours. If you plan to save some for the next day, add the nuts and seeds just before serving.
