Sweet & Salty Snack Mixes

I’m a snacker; always have been. Most of my childhood photos show me eating some sort of snack. Or holding a whole bag of Bugles. (#noshame) I’m pretty sure I get it from my dad, who always has the new snack mix, bars or cookies to try. Is it weird to have almost a full pantry dedicated to this sort of stuff? I think not. And while most people buy snack mixes from the store (Hi, dad!), I like the option of mixing them up at home. I LOVE being in the kitchen, customizing and making different things in anticipation my family will enjoy something different from the usual snack mix.

While some of my experiments are winners and some are … not, I have a few winners to share with you! Seriously, they will disappear and you’ll have to lie to your kids that it’s still “cooking” while you go hide in the closet … eating some for yourself before all the littles gobble it all up.
