Top-Rated Recipes from Fall-Winter: Stock Up on Your Favorites!

February is an important month for Tastefully Simple as well as our clients. It is the month that our Fall-Winter seasonal products retire to make way for the new Spring-Summer line. It is a bittersweet month. After one season transitions to the next, there are always clients who try to order their favorite seasonal products after they are long sold out. That is tragic! I don't want YOU to go through the disappointment of not being able to order your family's favorites!

I'd like to highlight some of the most popular products from the Fall-Winter line that will be transitioning to while supplies last on February 11. Here is a little insider tip: Some of these products are what we call "seasonal standards." That means they will be available again next fall. Other seasonal products are "while supplies last." When they are gone, they are gone. Period. So stock up accordingly. Another insider's tip: Most of our seasonings and mixes have a two-year shelf life when kept in a cool, dry place.

One of my favorite seasonal standard products is Creamy Wild Rice Soup Mix. It is so versatile because it serves as the base for many popular main dish recipes. Type Creamy Wild Rice Soup into the recipe search on tastefullysimple.com and you will find over 40 recipes, including Creamy Wild Rice Stuffing, Beef and Rice Casserole, Creamy Wild Rice Egg Bake, Chicken Wild Rice Pot Pie and Creamy Tuna Casserole. See what I mean? You will need several packages to last until this product returns next Fall.

Rustic Chicken Wild Rice Soup is one of my family's all-time favorite Tastefully Simple recipes using this product! It is absolutely delicious! You know a recipe is a great one when everyone utters a one-word exclamation like, "WOW!" Then it gets reeaally quiet until they finish the last bite! Rustic Chicken Wild Rice Soup is hearty comfort food that you can make in a Dutch oven, slow cooker or electric pressure cooker.

You will need two other products to prepare Rustic Chicken Wild Rice Soup: Garlic Garlic™ Seasoning and Rustic Herb Seasoning. They are standard products available year round and they are two of our most versatile seasonings. Rustic Herb seasoning alone has over 100 recipes. Garlic Garlic has 971! That is 2½ years worth of dinners! That should also give you an idea of how awesome Garlic Garlic is!

Another standard seasonal product you will want to stock up on is Wahoo! Chili® Seasoning. A Tastefully Simple recipe search will reveal over 100 different ways to use this product besides chili. I'd like to share another Insider's tip with you. Wahoo! Chili Seasoning has been the secret ingredient in many award-winning chili recipe cook-offs around the country! You can substitute Wahoo! Chili Seasoning in recipes that call for chili powder. Try using it in place of chili powder in this Black Bean Butternut Squash Chili recipe. Stock up!

A couple of "honorable mentions" are Korean BBQ Slow Cooker Sauce Mix and Cheddar Broccoli Soup Mix. Korean BBQ Slow Cooker Sauce Mix is deliciously unique - sweet and sassy with an Asian flair and little kick. Whether you want to serve flank steak, chicken or pork; this sauce mix provides the perfect blend of flavors and is a crowd pleaser. Try the Korean Glazed Meatballs or Slow Cooker Korean BBQ Chicken Tacos.

Cheddar Broccoli Soup Mix is easy to doctor-up with chicken, ground beef or extra veggies. Try this Rustic Italian Chowder recipe or Chicken Rice Broccoli Soup. Both of these recipes use another one of our standard favorites, Onion Onion™ Seasoning. With over 700 recipes to choose from, it's one seasoning that every kitchen needs in the pantry!

Take a few minutes and search Tastefully Simple's recipes by product. Decide how you want to shake up your dinner menu and place an order before February 11. All that is left for you to do after that is ENJOY!
