- Prepare in our Silicone Bar Pan. Reduce crust bake time to 10 minutes and custard bake time to 25 minutes.

- For chocolate flavor, melt ½ cup bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate chips. Whisk into warmed cream before adding packet 2.
- For lemon flavor, reduce cream to 1¾ cups. Whisk ¼ cup fresh lemon juice and zest of 1 lemon into custard mixture in step 2.

1 package Crème Brûlée Bar Mix
6 tablespoons butter, softened, sliced
2 cups heavy whipping cream
- Place oven rack in the middle position. Preheat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, combine Packet 1 and butter. Mix with a fork until small crumbles form. Reserve ½ cup crumbles; firmly press remaining crumbles into greased 8x8-inch baking pan. Bake 12 minutes. Remove from oven. Let cool 10 minutes.
- Turn oven down to 300°F. When crust is cooled, in medium microwave-safe bowl, microwave cream on HIGH 2 minutes. Whisk in Packet 2 until dissolved. Carefully and slowly pour hot custard over crust in pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until center is slightly wobbly (but not liquid). Remove from oven.
- Turn oven to broil on HIGH and allow to preheat. Sprinkle reserved crumbles over bars. Broil 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool 30 minutes. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. Keep refrigerated.
