Classy Chocolate Pound Cake Mix
Moist, dense and choco-lotty. Top this chocolate pound cake with whipped cream or ice cream for an easy and elegant dessert. Simply add butter and water to this simple Classy Chocolate Pound Cake Mix. Serves 11. (17 ounces)
- ¾ cup melted butter
- 1 cup water
- Want to lighten it up? Substitute ¾ cup applesauce or plain yogurt for the butter.
- Swirl Rhubarb Strawberry Fruit Spread through the batter.
- For mini trifles, cut cake into cubes. In small, clear dishes, layer cake with whipped cream and fresh berries.
- Make a marble cake by pouring batter into a greased 9x13 baking pan; top with Absolutely Almond Pound Cake batter. Swirl with a knife; bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes.
