Several years ago, when I was selling for another direct sales company, I used to serve Tastefully Simple products at my parties. I loved how simple and versatile they were. After leaving that company, I spent some time trying to find another direct sales opportunity that I could feel really passionate about.

This past spring, I attended a friend’s Tastefully Simple party, then hosted an online party of my own. Just 24 hours after the party began, it already had $500 in orders. I called my consultant and told her, “I want to join.” It was a perfect fit: I love how the products help break up the mundane routine of everyday meals – and my clients feel the same way. It’s been fun to try new things, prepare wonderful meals for my family and share my ideas with clients.

Since starting my business, my Tastefully Simple income has become our family’s “fun money.” We’ve been able to take several vacations, including a three-week camping trip out west. We toured 14 states, seeing landmarks like Mt. Rushmore, the Badlands, Yellowstone National Park, Hollywood, California, the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. We would never have been able to have a family trip like this without my Tastefully Simple income, which paid for the whole thing.

I have already earned the upcoming incentive trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and am working toward next year’s free trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

During the COVID-19 social distancing era, I’ve been working my business mostly online. In addition to online parties, I have a VIP Facebook group where I post daily recipes, tips and fun stuff. Right now, we’re all in the same boat with the pandemic, and my clients appreciate the opportunity to get food delivered directly to their doors.

It’s important for me to show my appreciation to everyone who supports my business, so I send homemade thank-you postcards to everyone who places an order. Several of my clients who joined my team have told me that this personal touch was the reason they joined.

My Tastefully Simple business has been an all-around wonderful experience for me and my family. The food is great. The money is great. The incentives are amazing. There’s a great support system, with fellow consultants helping each other. I really can’t see a downside to starting a Tastefully Simple business. Why wouldn’t anyone want all this?
