Asian Meatloaf in the Slow Cooker Recipe

This twist on meatloaf is made even easier in the slow cooker.

  1. Line a 3-quart or larger oblong slow cooker with aluminum foil. Spray with no-stick cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl, combine first 7 ingredients, ¼ cup Honey Teriyaki Sauce and 1½ teaspoons Sriracha sauce; salt and pepper as desired. Mix until just combined. Form into a loaf in slow cooker.
  3. In small bowl, combine remaining 2 tablespoons Honey Teriyaki Sauce, 1½ teaspoons Sriracha sauce and toasted sesame oil. Spread over top of loaf. Cook on LOW 5-6 hours.
  4. Serve drizzled with cooking juices, if desired.

Makes 6 servings.

Serve with mashed potatoes or rice and steamed green beans.

Alternate Baking Directions: Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare as directed in a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake 60-75 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F on an instant-read food thermometer.

Make Ahead & Freeze: Prepare step 2 and place in a gallon freezer bag. Place step 3 ingredients in a quart freezer bag. Place both bags in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Continue with step 2.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great twist on meatloaf! I’m not a big meatloaf fan but I wanted to try this new slow cooker recipe! I really enjoyed the flavor and as you can see we sautéed up extra mushrooms as a side for this one. I would have liked more gravy/sauce for it but the flavor was yummy! It also smelled delicious while cooking away in the crockpot.
