  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1½ pounds boneless beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 10-12 (5½-6 inch) flour tortillas, warmed
  • 1 cucumber, seeded and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • Crumbled Mexican Cotija cheese or shredded Monterey Jack cheese, optional

cooking methods

  • Stovetop

  1. In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add beef and Onion Onion™ Seasoning; salt and pepper as desired. Stir-fry until cooked to desired doneness, about 5-6 minutes.
  2. Stir in Bayou Bourbon Glaze; cook until heated through.
  3. Serve beef in warmed tortillas garnished with cucumbers, carrots and cilantro. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired.

Tip: For a thicker sauce, whisk together 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 tablespoon cold water. Stir into step 2; cook 1 minute.

Makes 6 servings. Serve with chips and salsa.

Make ahead & freeze: Combine step 1 ingredients in a quart freezer bag. Place Bayou Bourbon Glaze in a quart freezer bag. Place both bags in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Continue with step 1.
