Bayou Bourbon Glazed Chicken Recipe
- 6 (5 ounce) boneless skinless chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper
- Prepare grill to medium heat. Place seasoned chicken on grill; grill turning once, 10-12 minutes or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165°F on an instant-read food thermometer, basting with half of the Bayou Bourbon Glaze during last 4-5 minutes of grill time.
- Drizzle with remaining Bayou Bourbon Glaze when serving.
Makes 6 servings.
Pan-Fry: In large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter and 1½ tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken. Pan-fry approximately 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Reduce heat to medium low and continue to cook chicken approximately 4-6 minutes, turning occasionally or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165°F on an instant-read food thermometer. Reduce heat to low. Pour ½ cup Bayou Bourbon Glaze over chicken. Cover; simmer an additional 1-2 minutes watching carefully not to burn sauce. Drizzle with remaining Bayou Bourbon Glaze when serving.
