Bayou Street Tacos Recipe

  • 1½ pounds lean ground beef
  • 18 (4-inch) corn or flour tortillas, warmed
  • 1 (10 ounce) package power blend slaw mix or broccoli slaw mix
  • ½ cup crumbled Mexican queso fresco cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro

  1. In large skillet over medium-high heat, cook and crumble ground beef until no long pink, about 6-8 minutes. Drain of liquid.
  2. Stir in Bayou Bourbon Glaze. Simmer 1-2 minutes.
  3. Place beef in warmed tortillas. Top with slaw mix, cheese and cilantro. Drizzle with additional Bayou Bourbon Glaze, if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
