BBQ Beef Hand Pies Recipe

These tasty little hand pies are filled with shredded beef, cheese, mushrooms and Smoky Bacon BBQ Sauce.

This recipe requires Creating Magic Slow Cooked Beef recipe.

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, Rustic Herb Seasoning and Makin" Magic Chicken Seasoning. Sauté until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in Creating Magic Slow Cooked Beef; simmer until heated through. Remove from heat and stir in Smoky Bacon BBQ Sauce; cool slightly. Stir in cheese.
  3. Cut sheets of thawed puffed pastry into 3 sections each. Divide meat mixture among the puffed pastry sections, placing in the center. Stretch and fold pastry over and seal edges with a fork.
  4. Place on a large, greased rimmed baking sheet. Bake 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand 5 minutes* before serving.

Makes 6 servings.

*Caution: Filling will be very hot, use caution when eating.

Make Ahead & Freeze: Prepare through step 3. Wrap each hand pie in plastic wrap and place in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Preheat oven to 400°F and continue with step 4.
