Chocolate Berry Smoothie Recipe

  • 1 cup non-dairy milk of choice (almond, cashew, coconut)
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen assorted berries (blackberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • ¼ ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
  • ¼ cup fresh baby spinach leaves, kale or power greens
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
  • Pinch Kosher salt

  1. In a blender, combine all ingredients.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Transfer to a glass; sprinkle with additional Cinnamon Spice Seasoning, if desired.

Makes 1 serving.

Make Ahead: Can be prepared up to 3 hours ahead. Keep refrigerated. Shake well before serving.

Note: Unsweetened cocoa powder gives a dark chocolate flavor and can be reduced or omitted from recipe, if desired.
