Preheat oven to 450◦. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil; set a wire rack inside. Separate asparagus into bundles of 3 stalks. Carefully wrap a half-slice of bacon around each bundle, starting about an inch from the bottom of the tip. Set them, seamed side down, on the rack. If desired, lightly sprinkle brown sugar over bacon. Drizzle it all with oil, and sprinkle generously with Garlic Pepper Seasoning to taste. Bake about 20-22 minutes or until bacon is lightly crisp. Makes 10 servings.
