Giddyup Tostada Dip Recipe

An excellent dip to serve at your Cinco de Mayo celebration.

ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 2-3 ripe avocados, halved and pulp removed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 15 oz. can refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 3 finely chopped green onions
  • 2.25 oz. can sliced black olives
  • 10 cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Tortilla chips (optional)

Combine the first 2 ingredients in medium bowl; allow to stand 15 minutes. Add avocados to guacamole mixture. Mash with a fork to desired consistency; set aside. Combine sour cream and Fiesta Party Dip Mix in a small bowl; set aside. In a serving dish, mash the refried beans; spread in an even layer on bottom of dish. Spread the guacamole evenly over the beans. Top with sour cream mixture, spread mixture to edges to seal completely. Layer top with lettuce, onions, olives, tomatoes and cheese. Serve with tortilla chips served around the outside of dish. Makes 5-6 servings.
