Preheat oven to 350°. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl; stir in ½ cup nuts and blend well. Evenly divide batter into 18 greased or paper-line muffin cups.
Combine ¼ cup nuts, oats and warmed honey. Distribute evenly on the tops of muffins, slightly pressing into batter. Bake 23-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Makes 18 muffins.
