Preheat oven to 325°. Remove any plastic and plastic bone covers from the ham; place in a roasting pan or a 9x13 pan. Pour beer over the ham; cover with heavy-duty foil; sealing around the edges of the pan. Bake about 2½ hours, basting occasionally if desired. Bake to an internal temperature of 145°; let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with warmed sauce(s) on the side.
