Mulled Cider Baked Fruit Recipe

A combination of baked fruits that's perfect served over a piece of Absolutely Almond Pound Cake and ice cream.

  • 15-16 oz. can sliced peaches, drained
  • 15-16 oz. can sliced pears, drained
  • 15.25 oz. can tropical fruit, drained
  • 20 oz. can pineapple slices, drained and 1/3 cup juice reserved
  • 2 Tbsp. Sweet Mulled Cider Mix
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 350°. In a greased 8 x 8 baking pan arrange fruit in layers: peaches, pears, tropical fruit and finish with the pineapple sliced. In a sauce pan over medium heat, combined reserved pineapple juice, Sweet Mulled Cider Mix, brown sugar and butter. Cook until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved. Pour over fruit. Bake, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes until heated through. Serve warm over Absolutely Almond Pound Cake and ice cream.
