In a large stockpot, whisk soup mix into water and beer. Add next 2 ingredients; simmer over low-medium heat for about 30 minutes; stirring occasionally. In a separate pot, boil sliced potatoes until tender; drain and stir into soup mixture. Meanwhile, brown sausage with Garlic Garlic until fully cooked; drain and add to soup. Remove stockpot from heat. Gradually fold in shredded cheese until completely melted. Serve warm. Makes 6 servings.
