Pound Cake Smore's Sandwiches Recipe

Almond pound cake in place of graham crackers makes this s’more an especially indulgent treat.

  1. Prepare Absolutely Almond Pound Cake as directed on package with melted butter and water. Allow to cool completely; remove from pan and cut into ½-inch slices.
  2. Spread one slice of pound cake with 1 tablespoon of hazelnut spread; spread another slice of pound cake with 1 tablespoon marshmallow fluff. Press spread sides together to form a sandwich. Brush each side of sandwich lightly with melted butter.
  3. Heat a panini grill or skillet to over medium heat. Place sandwich on grill or in pan and cook about two minutes, until pound cake is golden brown on bottom. Carefully flip sandwich and cook other side. Drizzle with Creamy Caramel Sauce or chocolate syrup, if desired. Serve immediately.
Makes about 8 s'mores sandwiches.
