Pumpkin Spiced Pecans Recipe

Here's a yummy treat to eat on its own or add to your favorite snack mix, top your sweet potatoes, oatmeal or salad.

  • 1 medium egg white, whisked
  • 1 (6 ounce) package pecan halves
  • ½ packet Autumn Apple Pumpkin Cheese Ball Mix
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. In large bowl, combine egg whites and pecans and toss gently until evenly coated.
  2. In large bowl or plastic bag, combine remaining ingredients. Add pecans to mixture and toss gently until combined.
  3. Spread mixture out in a single layer on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for about 30 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes, until pecans are fragrant and the sugar coating is cooked.
  4. Remove from oven. Let the baking sheet cool until pecans reach room temperature. Transfer them to a sealed container and store until ready to use.

Makes 8-10 servings.

Hint: The sugar mixture will harden more once pecans are out of the oven.
