Roasted Pepper Breakfast Mac & Cheese Recipe

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • ½ pound bacon slices or breakfast sausage
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 jar Roasted Pepper Egg Bake Starter
  • 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup plain panko bread crumbs, optional
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted, optional

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare macaroni according to package directions until al dente; drain
  2. Meanwhile, in large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon or sausage until cooked through. Remove from skillet and chop into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
  3. In large bowl, whisk eggs; stir in Roasted Pepper Egg Bake Starter, cheese, Seasoned Salt, meat and pasta. Pour into a greased 8x8-inch baking pan.
  4. In small bowl, combine bread crumbs and butter. Sprinkle over egg mixture, if desired. Bake 20 minutes or until set.
