Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy, SO DELICIOUS My 12 year old daughter made this for the dessert the other night. She was so proud of herself, especially when daddy proclaimed it the "best cake he had ever tasted!" High praise from my picky husband for sure!! This cake is moist, delicious and perfect for when you want dessert, but are already using your oven to make dinner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Dessert for a Crowd! I've made this a few times now - always a hit! Last time I used raspberry pie filling (who doesn't love chocolate and raspberries?) Also a hit - but I think I preferred the cherries. Perfect when feeding a crowd because it's EASY, can be put together ahead of time, and it makes a LOT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm Black Forest Cake! YUM Love making this dessert with the slow cooker! Nice when you don't want to heat up the entire kitchen by using the oven. Doesn't matter when you serve it, it is always warm! And add some ice cream to it! OMG!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soooo GOOD! This is one of those desserts that feed a ton of people! You can use raspberry filling if you want. I also add a jar of dark chocolate fudge to the top when it's done.
