Strawberry Almond Pancakes Recipe
Did you know that you can make our Absolutely Almond Pound Cake into pancakes? Eat cake before 10 am!
- 6 Tbsp. (¾ stick) butter, melted
- 6 Tbsp. applesauce
- 1¼ cup water
- Fresh strawberries
- Whipped cream
- Sliced almonds for garnish (optional)
Heat a flat griddle or frying pan over medium heat, and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Combine first 4 ingredients; stir to blend. Drop batter by ¼ cup measures onto griddle. Flip pancake when edges start to firm and bubbles appear on the top. Remove pancake when golden and fluffy. Serve warm topped with fresh strawberries, whipped cream and sliced almonds if desired. Makes about 10 servings.
