  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Prepare Sunny Lemon Pound Cake Mix packet 1 according to package directions using water and ½ cup melted butter.
  2. Remove cake from oven. While cake is still warm, use a small dowel or the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes from the top to nearly the bottom of the cake, spacing holes at about 1-inch intervals.
  3. In small bowl, mix together lemon juice and powdered sugar. Pour over warm cake so it seeps into the holes. Allow cake to cool completely and remove from pan.
  4. In small bowl, combine Sunny Lemon Pound Cake Mix packet 2 with remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter and 1-2 tablespoons water; whisk until smooth. Drizzle over top and sides of pound cake.
  5. Serve plain or drizzle with warmed Rhubarb Strawberry Fruit Spread and fresh fruit.
