Combine first 7 ingredients in a greased slow cooker. Cover; cook on low 3½-4½ hours. Stir in green onions and sour cream; cook for an additional 5-10 minutes. Top with French fried onions. Serve with steamed California blend vegetables. Makes 6 servings.

Make ahead & freeze
Combine first 7 ingredients in a gallon resealable freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw and prepare as directed above.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for the family We enjoyed this meal. My 2 and 3 year old helped to make it. It is very easy. Even those in the house who don't like mushrooms liked this meal. I think it could use a little salt but I think that depends on your likes. I used some shredded frozen turkey we had in the freezer and it was great with that. We will be having this again.
