I started selling Tastefully Simple in January 2007 to give me something to do while my husband is at work over the weekends.
It all started when my girlfriend asked me to go to a party in October 2006, I really didn't want to go since I am a picky eater and figured that I would not like anything. The party started and Jackie, my now-sponsor, made all the food sound so good. I tried the Warm The Oven dip and some other things, and I was sold. I booked a party for January since I knew that even though I probably would not eat it my friends and family would. I was so right in that statement - before my party was even closed I sold over $1,000 in product.
I then decided that I would take the chance and become a consultant. I have done very well. I achieved all the Party to Success milestones and received acknowledgement for the most sales in a month, and I have gone to National Conference (which is very rewarding). I feel that Tastefully Simple has given me the confidence to be whatever I want to be and to achieve whatever I put my mind to. I am now actively recruiting a team so that they can experience the "shine" like I have.
I cannot wait to see what the next year brings my way - the sky is the limit.
