Prepare Bountiful Beer Bread Mix according to package directions, using lemon-lime soda instead of beer. For best results, bake the bread at least one day in advance. If desired, leave on counter unwrapped overnight so the bread gets a little stale.
In large mixing bowl slowly whisk milk into flour until combined; whisk in the next 5 ingredients until smooth.
Cut bread into ¾-inch slices. (Don't use ends.) Dip both sides of bread in mixture. Heat a greased griddle or skillet over medium heat. Cook bread on each side until golden brown. Serve with Blackberry Syrup.
Tip: You can also use Multi-Grain Beer Bread Mix, prepared with lemon-lime soda.
