Jalapeño Popper Football Cheese Ball Recipe

This simple recipe combines all the goodness of jalapeño poppers into a fun shaped cheese ball.

ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup finely shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (4 ounce) can chopped jalapeño peppers, drained
  • ⅓ cup chopped green onions
  • 6 tablespoons Bacon Bacon
  • 1 slice provolone cheese
  • Crackers and assorted veggies

directions

  1. In large bowl, combine first 4 ingredients and 3 tablespoons Bacon Bacon™. Mix until well combined. Refrigerate 2 hours.
  2. On a serving platter, form into a football shaped cheese ball. Press remaining 3 tablespoons Bacon Bacon onto cheese ball.
  3. Cut cheese slice into strips and place on top of cheese ball weaving strips to create the football laces. Serve with crackers and assorted veggies.
