Mediterranean Tuna Salad Recipe

This mayo-free tuna salad has all the flavors of the Mediterranean with Citrus Herb Seasoning.

  • 1 (5 ounce) can chunk light tuna in water, drained
  • 1 tablespoon diced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon diced celery
  • 5 pitted Kalamata olives, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon paleo-friendly Dijon mustard
  • ¼ rip avocado, pitted, peeled and sliced
  • 4-5 grape tomatoes, cut in half


  1. In small bowl, combine first 8 ingredients. Gently toss to coat.
  2. Serve tuna salad over avocado slices and top with tomato halves.
  3. Sprinkle with a dash of Citrus Herb Seasoning to garnish, if desired.

Makes 1 serving.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice change of taste for tuna salad We love tuna salad for lunch but the mayo version is boring. This citrus herb update is good - different -fun! Next time i'll use 1/2 teaspoon of the citrus herb though - it needed to be zingier to balance with the tuna.
