Mexican Chocolate Cake Recipe
Chocolate deliciousness with a touch of cinnamon.
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 - 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- Whipped cream or ice cream
Combine first 5 ingredients; stir to blend. Pour batter into greased 9-inch round cake pan. Bake at 325° for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; cool. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. Makes 8-9 servings.
