Carolyn Schmidt joined Tastefully Simple in 2016 as CIO/Vice President of Technology. As Principal owner of White Wolf Advisors, LLC, an executive technology consulting firm, Carolyn was brought on board to evaluate Tastefully Simple’s business and technology gaps and develop a right-sized technology strategy. Carolyn continues to lead the technology team in executing the IT strategy and delivering projects as part of the annual business plan for Tastefully Simple.
Carolyn has over 30 years of corporate leadership and technical experience across varied industries in the Fortune 500 and mid-cap for-profit and large non-profit sectors, including Target Stores, C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc., and Be the Match, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program. Carolyn graduated B.S. magna cum laude, with a triple major in Business Administration, with concentration in Marketing & Management; Entrepreneurship; and Financial Economics; and with a Minor in Finance from St. Catherine's University in St. Paul, Minnesota, U.S. Carolyn also earned her Master of Science graduate degree in Behavioural Science for Management from University of Stirling, Stirling, Scotland, U.K.
