This dessert is appropriate all the time. It's not overly sweet and it's so easy and quick. I've made this for older relatives as well as younger ones, and they all love it.

I always keep one or two of these absolutely Almond pound cakes in my pantry. Great to make after work for dessert or for when guests call and are stopping over. Always moist and delicious, especially with caramel sauce.

wrong ingredients on box :(
on the package of absolutely almond pound cake package that i purchased it called for a 1 1/2 stick of butter after baking the cake to golden brown and allowing it to cool. I sliced it and half of the cake was doughy and I wondered what I did wrong and the cake just had to much butter based on this online ingredient list calling for 1/2 cup of butter not 3/4 cup of butter.
almond pound cake is great!
This is one of my favorites. It's good on its own. It's even better with strawberry rhubarb jam. Every time my family gets together this is what I bring. And it's gone nearly ever time.
