Well, recently my stove conked out so I asked my daughter to bake the pound cake for me when she gets a chance. Well, three weeks later I asked her, Where's My Cake? She replied, it smelled so good, the kids attached it even before it cooled off!!!! This time I ordered two!!!
Easy way to make basic pound cake dessert
I made the pound cake and sliced it when cooled. Then I cooked some strawberries with raspberries and blueberries with a little sugar until slightly thickened. I put a slice of pound cake on a plate, poured berry mixture over that and topped with whipped cream for a very pretty and yummy dessert. It was a hit.
