Cheese Fondue with Puzzle Croutons Recipe
- 12 oz. can beer or club soda
- 8 oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
- 1½ cups half & half
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Olive oil spray
- Slow Cooker
Special equipment: puzzle piece cookie cutters or sandwich cutter.
Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare and bake Bountiful Beer Bread Mix® according to package directions using beer or club soda. Cool completely.
Preheat oven to 425°. Slice bread ½-inch thick; cut each slice into 4 puzzle pieces (or cut each slice into triangles). Place on a large greased baking sheet sprayed with olive oil. Spray tops of bread with additional olive oil. Bake 10 minutes or until crispy.
Meanwhile in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine cream cheese, half & half and Artichoke & Spinach Warm Dip Mix. Cook, stirring frequently, until melted and smooth. Stir in Monterey Jack cheese and continue cooking until smooth.
Transfer to a small slow cooker on warm. Serve with puzzle beer bread croutons. Makes 8 servings.
