Bayou Bourbon Beef and Broccoli Recipe

  1. In 3-quart or larger slow cooker, combine all ingredients except broccoli. Cook on LOW 6 hours.
  2. Stir in broccoli. Continue cooking until broccoli is tender, about 30 minutes.
  3. If desired, stir in an additional ¼ cup Bayou Bourbon Glaze before serving.
Makes 6 servings.
Serve over prepared rice, quinoa or noodles.

Make Ahead & Freeze: Combine step 1 ingredients in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze with broccoli. Thaw completely. Continue with step 1.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very delicious but very over cooked GREAT taste but the directions for cooking were way too long. We used cubed stew meat and baked in the oven. After an only an hour at 350, meat was already over done. We will definitely be making this one again, but next time, I will probably cook it only for 45 minutes. You could also make a small amount of gravy out of the drippings. We used egg noodles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING! One of the best things I have ever cooked in a slow cooker! Didn't freeze it beforehand. Just mixed it all together and put it in the cooker, minus the broccoli until the end. It really was delicious!!
