Butter Pecan Lace Cookies Recipe

English toffee and pecans mixed into Nana's Apple Cake Mix and made into thin lacy cookies that melt in your mouth.

  1. In large bowl, combine all ingredients; using an electric mixer, mix until well combined. Form into 1-inch balls. Refrigerate 2 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place 4-6 dough balls on a large, greased baking sheet (dough will spread to a very thin cookie as it bakes). Bake 14-15 minutes.
  3. Let cool on pan 1 minute; remove to cooling rack.

Makes 30 cookies.

Make Ahead & Freeze: Prepare through step 1. Place between sheets of Press ‘n Seal® plastic, sealing around each dough ball. Place sheets of dough in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Continue with step 2.
