Parmesan Bacon Crostini Recipe
A cheesy appetizer with bacon - that says it all right there!
- 8 oz. softened cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or Monterey jack cheese
- 1 large baguette
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup real bacon pieces or bits
Preheat oven to broil. Combine first 3 ingredients; chill 30 minutes. Cut baguette into ½-inch slices. Spread cream cheese mixture liberally over each slice of bread; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bacon. Place under broiler for 2-5 minutes or until lightly browned and cheese is bubbly. Serve warm. Makes about 30 crostinis.
