Slow Cooked Chocolate Cherry Cake

Made this for a friends night. So easy to assemble and had it cooking in the crockpot while we all went to dinner. Left it on for 4 hours and was a Litt worried it might burn. It didn’t and was enjoyed by everyone, some with ice cream & some without. It is definitely a keeper!

This is so easy and is a hit everywhere I have taken it!! Added benefit - Your house smells DELISH for hours! Note: I only used 1 can of the cherry pie filling, and that was plenty.

It was so simple and tasted great! I put the ingredients in at home, took it to work and plugged it in! Done by lunch time!

My 12 year old daughter made this for the dessert the other night. She was so proud of herself, especially when daddy proclaimed it the "best cake he had ever tasted!" High praise from my picky husband for sure!! This cake is moist, delicious and perfect for when you want dessert, but are already using your oven to make dinner!

I've made this a few times now - always a hit! Last time I used raspberry pie filling (who doesn't love chocolate and raspberries?) Also a hit - but I think I preferred the cherries. Perfect when feeding a crowd because it's EASY, can be put together ahead of time, and it makes a LOT!

Love making this dessert with the slow cooker! Nice when you don't want to heat up the entire kitchen by using the oven. Doesn't matter when you serve it, it is always warm! And add some ice cream to it! OMG!!!
