This pound cake mix is a winning combination of moist, satisfying hearty texture and a rich, chocolate flavor. It is dreamy and decadent with chocolate chips sprinkled throughout. This dessert is divine when paired with whipped cream, fresh fruit, ice cream or topped with caramel or hot fudge.

The box includes easy to follow instructions - just add melted butter, egg and 1 cup water for the perfect texture every time. Use the chocolate cake mix to create a wide range of desserts including loaf cakes, bundt cakes and cupcakes. It can even be kneaded into a dough for a scrumptious biscotti or cookies. Kosher. Directions

1 package Classy Chocolate Pound Cake Mix
¾ cup water
¾ cup butter, melted & cooled
1 large egg

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; blend well. Do not overmix; batter will be lumpy.
  2. Spread batter in a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake 55-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  3. Cool completely. Remove from pan and slice.

Makes about 11 servings.

High Altitude: Increase water by 2 tablespoons and add 1⁄3 cup flour. Bake at 325˚F for 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Do not eat raw batter.

    Not the same

    This new box mix isn't the same as the previous one. I couldn't find any chocolate chips/chunks in my batter and it's a bland taste. Not real decadent and chocolaty. Cake was very dry too.     Sinfully delicious! Incredible! I always order the almond poundcake, but it now has a rival. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend. If you like brownies, you WILL enjoy this dessert.
