Sunny Lemon Blueberry Bars

It came out well and made it worthwhile putting in a little extra time to make them. The dough was sticky and somewhat hard to spread on the baking pan. I found it easier to just sprinkle coconut, oat, brown sugar separately without mixing with crumble. Tried reducing the butter quantity to half and added well mashed ripe bananas for the other half to make it low fat. Bars were quite yummy, light and guilt free. I also skipped the lemon frosting to keep it low sugar

Every time I make these bars, I receive rave reviews. Most recently I made them for my husband's class reunion and people couldn't say enough great things about them! It is a favorite of mine and my husbands also. I put in fresh blueberries from our Blueberry Fest that was held locally. Highly recommend!!

Made the Sunny Lemon Blueberry Bars. Calls for 1/4 C. coconut but the recipe does NOT indicate when/where to add it. I assumed it goes in the crumb topping??

I love lemon and Blueberry, Had this at a friends house and was the best dessert I have ever had in a home or a restaurant. It should be illegal.
