Coconut and Almond Breakfast Danish Recipe

  • ½ cup sweetened flaked coconut
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet Coconut Cream Pie Cheese Ball Mix
  • 2 (8 ounce) tubes refrigerated cresent rounds
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread coconut on rimmed baking sheet. Bake 7-9 minutes or until coconut is lightly toasted.
  2. Meanwhile, combine cream cheese and Coconut Cream Pie Cheese Ball Mix; set aside.
  3. Separate each tube of crescent rounds into 8 pieces; place on ungreased 17x11-inch rimmed baking sheet. Make a deep indent in the center of each crescent; fill centers with cheese ball mixture.
  4. Bake 17-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 10 minutes.
  5. Top with coconut and almonds, pressing in gently.
